The Solidarity of Civilizations

An American Indian View of the Cartoons.

The old adage that was popularized in Hollywood westerns," White man speaks with forked tongue" had a special meaning. It denoted the deceit of European settlers who often lied to North American Indian people as they stole coveted lands and nearly decimated them as a people. The recent split tongue approach used in defending Danish racist cartoons as freedom of speech must be loudly condemned as just more attacks on the rights of Muslims to defend their lands, culture and self determination.

  • There's a very nice article in the Toronto Sun today about this topic.

  • Hrhr... Indeed, those Cartoons are good *g*, but there are about 3 things I'd like to point...

    1. You've drawn a Uniform (or Gambesson) of a german Knight. Not of a Crusader, but of a historic order, which had it's sphere of influence in what became the Balticum (Neither did they participate in the Crusades, nor have they ever seen the holy land).

    2. Yes, by our law it is forsaken to deny the Shoah and if you belong to those who don't believe in it, your hereby invited to visit Buchenwald, Auschwitz and all those KZs, which were opened as a warning monument over the black sides of human nature.

    3. The Liberty of press (at least as we understand it - which has pretty nothing in common with the american propaganda-machinery) exists to ensure that a second holocaust may never happen again.

  • i think murder on the basis of race is a little worse than discrimination on the basis of race. or is life really of that little value.
